During the school holidays, they can have a go at axe throwing and testing their marksmanship skills with a thrilling battle archery range experience. There are epic Nerf gun battles too where doing the darts shows how fast and reactive they can be. In Chatham at Lordswood Leisure Centre for 4 to 16 year olds there the holiday club Easter Funtime. With a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, trampolining, woodland walks, films, camp building and lots more. All sessions are structured and run by qualified play workers. Weekdays from the 2nd to 12th April 2024, Members/Non Members: 8am-6pm sessions: £25/£26, 10am-4pm sessions: £21/£22, All Week: £115/£120 plus they are offering half price for a second child attending.
At the Wild One’s Forest School Holiday Club at Betteshanger Country Park, Deal in Kent, children enjoy the outdoors and nature, being free to explore for themselves, and developing self-confidence, self-esteem, and many other skills for Easter Events in Kent Activities & Adventures. Activities may include woodland crafts, lighting fires, campfire cooking, building dens, and climbing trees. TRAIN TREATS
What’s not to love with train rides, experiments and treasure hunts this Easter in Kent – head down to Tunbridge Wells and Sittingbourne for some egg-cellent fun.
Hop on board with Zap and Boing, the clumsy scientists, as they try out some wacky experiments on the Science Express! at Spa Valley Railway, Tunbridge Wells. FOSSILS FUN
Learn about the fossils we find, then head to the quarry with the tools of the trade to find your own 300 million-year-old fossil and receive your junior doctorate in palaeontology. You can then help the leader track down our escaped dinosaur, a dangerous Eotyrannus on the Dino Expedition at Betteshanger Country Park, Deal. Plenty to enjoy at the Big Easter Family Fun Day at Bewl Water in Tunbridge Wells in Kent for Easter. At Folkestone Museum, there are plenty of crafty creations with the MakeIt! Myths & Legends workshops. Make Iron Age horse brooches, and be inspired by the themes of Jupiter and the bee, dragon eggs and dream time. From the 2nd to the 5th of April 2024, drop-in sessions
between 10.30am–12Noon and 1.30pm-3.0pm. Price: Free – but donations are welcome to go towards the costs of the materials – suggested donations of £1-£2 per child. The age guidance is 4 to 11 years, but all ages are welcome.

ZOMBIE TRAINING
At the Zombie Survival Training at Betteshanger Country Park in Deal learn how to use throwing axes, and recurve bows to hunt down the evil zombie attackers. Once you have mastered your skill, finish the session with a led zombie hunt using Battlezone Archery bows to clear out the park’s woodlands from the evil dead. This Easter in Kent head to the Reuthe’s Lost Gardens of Sevenoaks where little ones can take on the trail challenge, with a Bunnies route for older ones. They can also visit the Easter Bunnies Grotto to meet the Easter Bunny, with photo opportunities, and collect a gift. 29th March and 1st April 2024, Grotto, 10am-2pm, Trail, 9am-4pm.
