Description
Plenty of free family fun at the Maidstone Medieval Fayre at Brenchley Gardens. There are talks and demonstrations including spinning, woodworking and calligraphy. Visitors can also meet a barber surgeon and a Knight at Arms, plus enjoy live medieval music and dance. With re-enactors, learn about Medieval crime and punishment, and discover childhood toys and games of the period. Owls and birds of prey from Kent Owl Academy will be on display, and little ones can do some knight and princess training!
