The Edenbridge Bonfire Society holds one of Kent's biggest traditional bonfire nights. A torchlit procession of marching bands, carnival floats and visiting bonfire societies winds through the town, carrying the Society's effigies of Guy Fawkes, General Wolfe and Anne Boleyn. It ends at Edenbridge Recreation Ground, where two 11-metre effigies, Guy Fawkes and a Celebrity Guy to be confirmed, are burned during the fireworks display. A not-for-profit organisation, run entirely by volunteers, raising money for charity.

Tickets will be on sale in local shops before the event

Road closures: 6pm to 10pm
Torchlit procession: 6.30pm (from Fircroft Way)
Fireworks: 8.30pm (Edenbridge Recreation Ground)

Schedule Note: Times are approximate. Roads reopen between about 8pm and 10pm, depending on the length of the procession.

Good To Know
Roads into and out of the town centre close from 6pm, so travelling by train is a good idea. If you drive, use Edenbridge Leisure Centre car park (TN8 5LU), Market Yard (TN8 5BA) or the small car park off the High Street behind Le Grys estate agents. Don't park on Fircroft Way, Station Road, the High Street or Mont St Aignan Way, as the procession uses these roads.
