Thames sailing barge Greta is one of the oldest of its kind in Britain, first launched in 1892. Now based in Whitstable in Kent, servicing passenger's who wish to experience life on board the historic barge during one of the daily sailing trips around the Thames Estuary. It can accommodate a maximum of 12 passengers per trip and the actual route will depend on weather conditions and will be decided on the day by the Greta Skipper Steve Norris. A popular trip is a visit to the World War II Army Forts,  through the Kentish Flats Wind Farm, out to the Red Sands WWII Army Forts.
