Description
Kent Downs is an Area of Outstanding Beauty and covers significant sections of Kent from the White Cliffs of Dover to the London and the Surrey borders. The ancient landscapes of the secluded dry valleys feature historic hedgerows, spectacular views, crossing villages, farms, and churches. Sections can be explored on foot, bike or horseback and feature fauna and wildflowers. Walks and maps can be found on the official website. The site also features 40 special places to celebrate the 40 years since Kent Downs was recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
