Mote Park in Maidstone covers 450 acres with woodland, rivers and a 30-acre lake and is a green flag park, with three children’s play areas, including a natural woodland one for 8-15-year-olds, and a skate park. There are also football and rugby pitches, outdoor fitness equipment, a BMX track and courts. You can also fish, find outdoor experiences, including adventure golf, wall climbing, and more. Plus, lots of fun to be had on the lake, whether it's a family boat ride or a paddleboarding adventure.
Mote Park Adventures
Plenty to enjoy at the park for all ages and interests:
Learning Packs: Download learning packs from the Maidstone Borough Council's website for children aged between four and 11 years old, which include maps, trails, and activities.
Water Fun: Visit the Mote Park Watersports Centre for a range of water fun - hire row and peddle boats, kayaks, and lots more.
Activities & Experiences: At the Mote Park Outdoor Adventure and the Maidstone Leisure Centre.
Model Boats & Trains: The Maidstone Model Engineering Society run a model railway on selected days from Spring to the end of the Summer, plus a Boxing Day special event. You can see the Cygnets Model Boat Club model boats on selected days.

Disabled parking
Mote Avenue has 13 free disabled bays, and School Lane has two. If the disabled spaces are full, you can park in a standard bay if your badge is on display.
