Description
Now a restaurant, the Old Weavers House has a rich history including and takes its name from one of the major industries of the city's past. Although dated on its sign as 1500, according to the venue's website, much of the structure of the building is earlier with the foundation having been laid in the 12th Century. You can see the building from the street and it is by the side of the King’s Bridge (please see our separate listing for more details) overlooking the River Stour.
