The Marlowe is a major regional theatre seating 1,200, with a diverse programme that showcases national and international productions, including West End musicals, touring plays, ballet, opera, and classical concerts. It is also home to a renowned annual pantomime. In addition to the main stage, the Marlowe Studio presents smaller-scale shows and experimental theatre, serving as a creative space for workshops.

Accessibility
The Marlowe offers a range of accessible performances, including Relaxed, Chilled, BSL, and Audio Described shows.
Wheelchair Access: Contact the Box Office to book dedicated spaces. Lifts provide access to all floors.
Parking: No public parking on site. A limited number of Blue Badge spaces are available at the theatre on a first-come, first-served basis (must be arranged in advance). There is a drop-off point with step-free access to the foyer, and the venue offers limited space for mobility scooter parking.
Hearing: An infrared hearing support system is in place.

Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome. The theatre offers a dog-sitting service at the Stage Door during performances; contact the venue at least one week in advance to book this.
