Description
The Romney Marsh Wartime Collection has a collection of local artefacts housed in the Brenzett Land Army Hostel from the Marsh/Kent area, including some from digs done by the museum itself, such as aircraft, engines and cockpits. Also part of the collection are uniforms from the Air Force, Navy, and Army, and Ghurkha items, and lots more. The Museum was originally a Land Army Hostel housing about 56 girls: this is next to an advanced landing ground used by Polish RAF squadrons and USAF squadrons.
