Spa Valley Railway operates heritage steam and diesel trains between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge with intermediate stations at High Rocks Halt* and Groombridge. Travel by mainline trains operated by Southern Railway to Eridge, where you can commence your journey through the wonderful High Weald Countryside. Spa Valley Railway also offers special cream tea, fish suppers and more, plus seasonal events. Steam and Diesel journeys operate in January and February and from April to October during the weekend and school holidays. Their opening days vary for special events, so check their website for full details.

Train
Edrige Staton & Tunbridge Wells West Station - 10 to 15 minutes.

Bus
Arriva operate the 281 service between Tunbridge Wells mainline station and Tunbridge Wells West station.
Brighton and Hove Buses connect Brighton, Lewes, Ringmer, Uckfield and Crowborough to both Eridge (bus stops on the A26) and Tunbridge Wells on routes 28, 29, and 29x.
Metrobus route 291 runs between Crawley, East Grinstead, Forest Row, Groombridge station (buses stop at the bottom of Station Road on the B2110, around 5-10 minutes walk from the station) and Tunbridge Wells (buses stop at The Pantiles stop at the bottom of Major Yorks Road, around 5 minutes walk from the station).
Stagecoach Buses route 51 operates daily services between Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne via the route of the Cuckoo Line via Rotherfield, Heathfield and Hellingly. These stop at Chapel Place, just over a 5-minute walk away from Tunbridge Wells West station.

Eridge Station - Pay & Display nearby. Please note that payment is made via app or by phone, and reception can be poor. Advised to see their parking page for more details.
High Rocks Station - free car parking is available in the Inn car park.
Tunbridge Wells West Station - Pay & Display nearby.
Groombridge Station - no parking at the station.

Accessibility
Spa Valley Railway cannot guarantee wheelchair-accessible carriages on all trains. For Green timetable days wheelchair-accessible carriage must be pre-booked. Cream Tea & Ploughman's Lunch:
Tunbridge Wells West: No parking, but visitors can be dropped off nearby, and the ticket office, shop and toilets are all on the same level. There is a unisex disabled toilet. There is a ramp to platform 1, which is the main platform in use.
Groombridge: Level access, but no parking.
Eridge: Access is via a ramp to the station platform. The railway encourages visitors with accessibility needs to contact them first and start and finish their journey at Tunbridge Wells West.
High Rocks: Access to the station is down a series of ramps from the car park and road, but please note that the path is made from small shingle, so it may be difficult to navigate for some. Passengers alighting at High Rocks can gain access to the pub garden by crossing a mown grass area.

Dogs
Allowed in cars, but not in dining coaches, except for assistance dogs. Good to know that there is no charge for dogs travelling.
