Description
The Sturry Road Community Park in Canterbury is one of the largest community-led greenspace regeneration projects in the UK. With over 10,000 native trees and shrubs already planted, the project has created a brand new 18 hectare public park on land previously used as a landfill site. On the outskirts of Canterbury, it serves both as a city park and as an environmental community project with a play area, skate park, games sections, BMX track, as well as a garden club area.
