Touchbase Gallery in Folkestone promotes accessible arts in all its forms. They believe that excellent art comes from everybody and that the practice of making art is for everyone and everyone has the right to see brilliant art. They offer residencies to artists with disabilities and are extending this to all artists, creative practitioners and art therapists who would like to learn about socially engaged practice and curatorial opportunities.
Accessibility
The gallery is being developed to make sure that it is fully accessible to everyone. This means that they are changing the layout to allow access for wheelchairs and working on making the space accessible for all.
