Wine tasting near Ashford offers experiences for wine beginners to aficionados, with children and pets allowed for your vineyard visit.

Westwell Wine Estates
Charing, Ashford
Tours for all seasons with a guided two-hour tour around the estate. You can learn about their approach to sustainable viticulture and winemaking, at £25. During the Winter, you’ll be able to taste the vintage wines as they progress – direct from the tank during an indoor tour of the winery.
Time: Friday & Saturday: 11am-5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm.
Child-friendly? Children under 18 years are allowed on the tour when accompanied by an adult, but cannot participate in the tastings.

Wayfarer Wines

On this vineyard tour, you will meet the owners and can ask questions about viticulture, sustainability, and winemaking. Tours, wine pairings and food options from £15 to £35. The venue is open Friday to Sunday, 11pm to 5pm.
Dogs: Allowed, but inform the vineyard at the time of booking and must be kept on a lead at all times.

Brabourne Vineyard Tours & Tastings

This 1-hour tour is personal and tailored to your interests. In the Garden of England, Gusbourne offers vineyard tours and tastings in Kent. They produce exclusively vintage wines that are unique to each growing season. They offer several experiences throughout the year. Tastings from £30 to £60. For a romantic vineyard tour in Kent, they offer a picnic for two experience, £90. Their popular Estate Tour includes a tour of the estate, followed by an extended guided tasting of Gusbourne wines. The experience is rounded off with a seasonal three-course lunch, paired with more delicious Gusbourne wines, £100. Their hosted vineyard tours last around 2 hours, and the hosted Discovery tours last around 4 hours.
You can also take a free self-guided tour around the estate.

 Warehorne Vineyard Tour
Warehorne, Ashford
At this Kent vineyard, learn more about the vines grown, the wine-making process, and everything else that comes with the grape growing seasons. You’ll gain an insider’s perspective of the craft on this guided tour around the estate. Finish the tour with a wine flight to sample their current still wines, £15. Time: Saturday and Sunday: 11am – 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Biddenden Vineyards
Biddenden, Ashford
In addition, for Vineyard Tours & Tastings in Kent, Biddenden Vineyards offers a variety of guided tours, self-guided tours, and seasonal family trails where children can navigate their way around the vineyard following clues for a themed treat. Self-Guided Tours run from May to September, £10 for a tasting flight of three of their wines (for an additional £5, they offer six wines), £5 of which is redeemable against purchases of Biddenden products over £20 from their vineyard shop. Two routes to choose from, one takes 20 minutes the other 40 minutes.
Private tours run Wednesday to Saturday from May to September, £40 (minimum of 2 people per booking), and take 1 hour and 45 minutes. They also offer Meet the Winemaker Tours – contact the vineyard for prices and more details.
Child-friendly?: Only 18 years + can attend guided tours and tastings.
Dogs Allowed?: Assistance dogs only.

Woodchurch Wine Estate
Woodchurch, Ashford
This family-run vineyard produces English still and sparkling wine and offers self-guided and guided tours of their vineyard. The self-guided tour is free, taking around 20 minutes. During their guided tour, £25, you will meet the founder and owner, and learn the history behind the vineyard and the wine. Time: Thursday to Sunday: 11am-5pm, the guided tour takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes, usually from 11 or 12Noon.
Child-friendly?: Children are welcome to attend free of charge – just let them know when you make a booking.

CANTERBURY TOURS AND TASTINGS

This boutique vineyard is one of the oldest in Kent and produces award-winning English wines. They offer tours and tastings, £20 from May to September, that last an hour. Bespoke group tours can also be arranged.

Woolton Farm Tours
Bekesbourne, Canterbury
Offers regular wine tours from April to September, where you can learn about the types of grapes grown in the vineyard and the different styles they make, for £20.

Saturdays & some Friday afternoons, £45. Join this fascinating vineyard and winery tour, followed by a guided tasting of the vineyard’s range. In addition, they also offer their Wine Tasting Experience on weekday afternoons, £24 and Sunset Sessions, £65.

Chartham Vineyard
Chartham, Canterbury
During this Vineyard Tours & Tastings in Kent learn how their traditional farming values are combined with modern, eco-friendly techniques at one of Kent’s newest vineyards. From April to October, you can take a tour and enjoy a tutored tasting. From November to March, you can see a demonstration vineyard, and enjoy an illustrated talk followed by a tutored tasting. £15. They also run regular art exhibitions.

 Elham Valley Vineyard

Take a tour of the vineyard at this garden centre and day centre for adults with learning difficulties run by the Fifth Trust Charity. You can stroll along a beautiful garden walkway through rows of around 1,500 vines, take time out for tea and cake, and see their nursery range. Time: Monday to Saturday: 9am-4pm and Sunday: 10am-4pm.

SEVENOAKS TOURS & TASTINGS
Wine tasting in Sevenoaks in Kent includes tutored tastings, vineyard walks, and exploring the grape-to-glass process.

Squerryes Winery
Westerham, Sevenoaks
Take a tour of the vineyard and learn about the history of the estate dating back 300 years. They are currently offering Winter Tutored Tastings – A Taste of Squerryes: £32, Summer Tours and Tastings, £32 and the Squerryes Estate Experience: £50.
For a self-led tour, you are welcome to walk around the vineyard, but please bear in mind that it is a working vineyard.
Child-friendly?: Children under the age of 12 years are not allowed. Children aged 12 years + are welcome, but a ticket must be purchased for them. They must be accompanied at all times.
Dogs Allowed?: Not allowed.

Mount Vineyard
Shoreham, Sevenoaks
On these Kent vineyard tours learn about their range of wines and their process from grape to glass. You can also experience tastings and events. Tastings are run all year, with tours from the end of May to the end of September. Time: Tastings take place on Friday to Sunday at 12.30pm and 2.30pm, and last around an hour and a half,  £35 per person. From late May to late September, enjoy a vineyard tour and tastings at 4.30pm, £40.
They have also introduced a new international tasting experience on Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm, they’ll whisk you away to another land with tastings of wines from around the globe, accompanied by cheeses paired specifically, from £50.

TONBRIDGE VINEYARD
Kent winery tours and tastings in Tonbridge include a variety of experiences, from masterclasses to meeting vineyard families.

TOURS
Balfour Hush Heath Estate
Staplehurst, Tonbridge
This vineyard is set across 400 acres enveloped in ancient oak woodland, where visitors can enjoy a self-led tour, just pick up a map from their cellar door and explore the picturesque estate at your own pace. They offer two routes to choose from through beautiful vineyards, apple orchards, wildflower meadows and ancient oak woodlands.
Or, take one of their guided experiences, for instance, their 2-hour Tour and Tasting experience, on weekdays and Sundays, 11am, £45 and Saturday at 11am or 2.30pm, £65. Walk the vineyards, orchards and woodlands with one of their experienced guides, f
ollowed by a tutored tasting of six Balfour wines. They also offer a Wine Tasting Masterclass, Monday to Sunday from 2pm to 3pm, £30, with a guided tasting of six Balfour Wines, where you can learn the technique of wine tasting. Additionally, they offer a Wine and Dine Experience, Thursday to Sunday between 11am to 4.30pm, £175.
Child-friendly?: Children under 12 are not permitted on tours or tastings. Only visitors over the age of 18 will be able to participate.
Accessibility: If you have access requirements, contact them 24 hours in advance of your visit.

FOLKESTONE WALK & WINE TASTINGS
Another fantastic vineyard tour and tasting in Kent! Here, you can learn about natural farming techniques and enjoy cheese and cake.

 Terlingham Vineyard
There are tastings and a guided walk at this vineyard, which uses natural farming techniques, £35. Meet the family, and enjoy a gentle walk in the vineyard for a behind-the-scenes view of how they use these methods to grow the grapes. Following that taste a selection of their still and sparkling wines, complemented by a cheese board and a
cake of the day at this relaxed and fun-filled 2-hour experience.
Child-friendly?: The minimum age for wine tasting is 18 years, there are non-alcoholic alternatives available for those under 18 years.
Accessibility: Please note the walk from the parking into the vineyard is about 500m long, on an uneven farm track. Please let them know if anyone has any mobility restrictions.

MAIDSTONE VINEYARD TOURS & TASTINGS
Maidstone boasts vineyards offering the journey of vine to wine through tours, tastings, and even seasonal family trails.

 Yotes Court Vineyard
West Peckham, Maidstone
For Vineyard & Winery Tours in Kent, enjoy a tour and guided wine tasting, taking you on a journey from vine to glass. They offer tours and tastings, private tours with lunch, and garden tours, from £30.  March to October they offer The Vineyard Tour, a guided tour through the vines where you can learn about their grapes and the vine lifecycle.
