Description

Wander beneath towering illuminated conifers at Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest in Goudhurst, near Tunbridge Wells, as the forest's Christmas trail returns for 2026. This year brings new installations alongside festive favourites, including the classic Christmas Cathedral and a brand-new Laser Garden, with Bedgebury's tall trees glowing against the night sky. Around every corner, enjoy enchanting moments, and you may even catch a magical glimpse of Father Christmas as your venture through the trail.

Parking: £10 per car including disabled parking. Must be booked in advance.
Parking for Forestry England Member: One free parking space when booked ahead
Booking fees may apply.

Booking Highlight
Anytime tickets permit entry on any trail at any time, on your chosen date. Only valid for the date chosen, and can only be used for entry to the trail once. Booking is essential.

27th to 29th November 2026: 4pm-7.30pm
2nd to 4th and 6th December 2026: 4pm-7.30pm
5th December: 4pm-8pm
9th and 10th December: 4pm-7.30pm
11th to 13th December: 4pm-8pm
14th to 17th December: 4pm-7.30pm
18th to 23rd December: 4pm-8.15pm
24th December: 4pm-7pm
26th to 31st December: 4pm-7pm
Timed entry every 15 minutes.

Runtime & Schedule
Runtime: Around 1 - 1.5 hours to walk the illuminated trail. Our calendar shows each slot's start and finish time.
Schedule Note: Entry is by timed slot only, with slots running approximately every 15 minutes; please arrive promptly for your booked time as slot times vary by date.

Accessibility
The trail is designed to be as accessible as possible within the natural landscape of Bedgebury. The route follows a mix of hard standing and tarmac paths with some gradual and steeper slopes. The illuminated trail is carefully designed so that all elements can be viewed from the pathways. Blue Badge accessible parking is available in the Visitor Centre car park - parking charge applies - and is limited and must be booked in advance.

Relaxed Sessions
Relaxed sessions with reduced crowd: 21st November,  2nd December and 14th December 2026: 4pm.

Dogs
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short lead and under control throughout the trail.

Good To Know
Cashless event. It is an outdoor illuminated trail, so wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear for Winter. Take a torch in case of an emergency, and there are a variety of food and drink stalls located along the trail. All customers must exit the car park by 10pm.

Ticket Tips
Any decision to cancel the illuminated trail will be made by 2pm on the day, and you will be notified shortly thereafter. You will be refunded if you do not rebook, excluding the booking fee. Tickets are non-refundable; however, you can transfer to an alternative date/time within 24 hours of your allotted date.
