Description
Another Time is a series of one hundred, solid cast-iron figures by Antony Gormley is cast from his own body and is located out to sea and is visible at low tide. They are described by the artist as isolated forms and ”an attempt to bear witness to what it is like to be alive and alone in space and time”. It is beside the Turner Contemporary (please see our separate listing for more details) and can be seen from the shoreline and the first floor balcony of the gallery.
