The Turner Contemporary in Margate offers a range of exhibitions and events throughout the year, including children's workshops. It was founded to celebrate and build on JMW Turner's association with the town and hosts exhibitions, dance, digital commissions, lectures, and lots more at this popular arts venue. You can also see Antony Gormley: Another Time from its first-floor window, or looking out to the sea from the front when the tide is low.

Step-free access across all floors, large-print guides, sensory bags and all our staff are trained in delivering audio-descriptive tours. Lift between floors, mobility scooters are welcome in the gallery. Wheelchairs available to use.

Bike racks to the left of the gallery, just outside Droit House.

Routes: Thanet Loop, 8,8A,8X,32,36 and the closest bus stop is Cecil Square - 10 minutes.

Train
Margate Train Station - 10 minutes.

Pay and display with disabled bays for blue badge holders and parking for motorcycles available - 2 minutes. Post code CT9 1HG.
Pay & Display car parks and bays throughout the town.
