Qudus Onikeku: The QDance Company at The Marlowe. Re:INCARNATION is a dance, music, fashion and visual art creation that showcases the depth of ancient Yoruba philosophy, mixed with Nigerian youth culture and its pure and uncompromising joy. DYSFUNCTIONAL DYNASTY
In The Lion In Winter at Medway Little Theatre in Rochester, it is 1183 at Henry II’s Chinon castle in France. The historical dramatic comedy is centred around a family Christmas from hell. The topic of the hour is who will inherit Henry’s crown and what follows is the alliances, deals and betrayals that ensue. Friday sees the start of the Broadstairs Food Festival – Autumn 2024. This is a three-day event that promises to bring together some of the finest food and drink producers of Kent and the neighbouring counties. There will be demonstrations, workshops and talks. MICRO MUSIC FESTIVAL
Friday also kicks off the three-day music festival, the Wasteland Weekender commemorates seven years since The Libertines owned The Albion Rooms in Cliftonville, in Margate. Headline acts include the Sports Team and singer/guitarist/rapper Hak Baker with a special ‘secret headliner’ on Sunday.
