At the 80th Anniversary VE Day Celebration at Tonbridge Castle (main image) on the 4th of May 2025, enjoy live music with big bands, dance showcases, stories, a 1940s Fire Station and vehicles display, and lots more. In Ramsgate, a 10-day event that commemorates one of the most daring and pivotal rescue missions in British military history – Operation Dynamo in Ramsgate, from 16th to 26th May 2025. See 70 historic Dunkirk Little Ships leave for Dunkirk, and return days later,  plus enjoy a vibrant mix of historical tributes, community events, music, free film screenings, and art.
